We're looking for an experienced wildlife pro to join our full-time team in our world-class, multi-million dollar facility, where you'll work up close with our big cats and help lead the charge in global tiger conservation through the Dreamworld Wildlife Foundation. What you’ll be doing: Helping train our tigers using protected contact methods Performing essential husbandry tasks like feeding, preparing diets, and enriching animal habitats Keeping the tiger enclosures and Tiger Island clean and well-presented Engaging guests with fun, educational talks about tigers and conservation Supporting our Wildlife team with husbandry duties for our native animal collection What we’re looking for: Proven experience in wildlife care, working with native, exotic, or non-domestic animals (experience with large carnivores desirable) Relevant qualifications in wildlife and exhibited animal care, zoological or animal sciences Friendly, confident communicator who enjoys engaging with guests Committed to teamwork, safety, and high standards of animal welfare Physically fit and capable of handling hands-on, active tasks safely Q-Fever vaccination required Must hold a current driver’s license Experience in animal training and enrichment is a bonus Must hold or be prepared to obtain a HLTAID011 Provide First Aid certificate This position requires a valid paid Queensland Blue Card under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000.
