Position Overview The successful candidate will perform advanced servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and overhauls on diesel engines, heavy vehicles, and associated systems Key Responsibilities and Duties Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to (and may be varied): Inspecting, servicing, diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and heavy vehicles Conducting routine servicing, safety checks, and maintenance across a range of vehicles and machinery Performing engine, driveline, brake, clutch and suspension repairs Carrying out diagnostic testing using specialised tools and equipment Repairing electrical and hydraulic systems Overhauling and reconditioning components such as injectors, pumps, gearboxes and differentials Working on trailers, buses, agricultural machinery and stationary engines Completing job cards, service reports and maintenance documentation Following workshop safety procedures Communicating with customers regarding repair needs and progress Qualifications and Experience: Relevant trade qualification (Certificate III or equivalent) Minimum 1 year’s experience as a Diesel Motor Mechanic Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Experience working with heavy vehicles, equipment and diesel systems Ability to work independently and within a team Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
