In late December we will be expanding to a brand-new state of the art workshop on Botany Road, Alexandria (next to Green Square Station) We are one of Sydney’s largest European Specialist workshops located in Alexandria. We’ve been operating since 1985 and have a proud history of providing an exceptional experience for our customers. We are about to move into a new workshop & are looking to expand our team with a driven, knowledgeable and enthusiastic Automotive Technician Essential Requirements: Must have AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience Experience in diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults Ability to carry out mechanical and electrical repairs Valid driver’s license Must be fluent in English Must have your own tools (excluding specialist workshop equipment) To be considered for the role, you will have: Demonstrated ability to use diagnostic equipment to investigate, repair, service and maintain vehicles in excellent working order Ability to work well as part of a team as well as unsupervised Strong interpersonal and communication skills High attention to detail Experience with European vehicles Duties: Analysis and identification of mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment Completing service, repair and maintenance on a variety of makes and models Keeping accurate and clear records for vehicles on faults, repairs, replacement and completed services Dismantle, repair, and replace worn parts, reassembling systems using technical manuals. Perform routine maintenance, engine tuning, and lubrication to ensure smooth operation and regulatory compliance. Conduct tests and adjustments post-repair, using computer diagnostics to support fault detection. Maintaining workshop tools and equipment Maintaining a clean and tidy work space Mentoring apprentices
