Lead the Delivery of Transformational Infrastructure Projects Take the lead in delivering high-impact local infrastructure projects that shape the future of the Georges River community. In this role, you’ll manage the design and construction of a diverse range of civil, building, open space and environmental projects. Working closely with the City Technical Services team, you’ll turn concept designs into real outcomes that enhance the liveability and vibrancy of the area. This is a hands-on project management role where you’ll drive project delivery, coordinate stakeholders, manage consultants and contractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with Council’s policies and standards. What We Offer Temporary, Full-Time - 35 hours per week (Maximum Term - Up to 2 years) Annualised Salary Agreement from $160,000 (Total Remuneration Package) to be negotiated dependent on skills and experience (Includes base salary, superannuation, and applicable entitlements and allowances) Fitness passport program offering discounted membership for you and your family for selected facilities Based at the Civic Centre in Hurstville CBD What We Are Looking For Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering, project management, construction or related field Registered Professional Engineer or should be eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer in accordance with the NSW registration laws Current Class C Drivers Licence Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) in civil, building and/or open space and environmental projects, with sound project management and comprehensive knowledge of construction techniques and methods for projects such as large-scale concrete works, community and amenity buildings, sporting facilities and fields, marine infrastructure, and general building construction Demonstrated experience in budget management and contract administration Experience in engaging stakeholders and community Sound knowledge of project management practices and procedures Demonstrated experience in public consultation process and conflict resolution skills Demonstrated knowledge of WHS legislation If you have made a positive commitment to further your career and you possess the attributes located in the Position Description essential criteria, then please submit your application today.
