Position Overview The Technical and Contract Specialist will play a vital role in the planning, delivery and ongoing management of Recycling & Waste services contracts. This position involves overseeing the contract framework for the division, developing technical specifications, assisting with contract implementation, and managing contractor relationships to ensure compliance with key performance indicators. Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Procurement, Law, or a related field. Extensive experience in contract lifecycle management within a local government context. Strong commercial acumen with a focus on waste management and financial analysis. Proven ability to develop and present complex business cases effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to foster relationships with diverse stakeholders.
