About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality, client-specific projects for our key client, GESB. This critical role will manage all aspects of project delivery—on time, on budget, and to the highest standards—while acting as the conduit between MUFG, GESB, and external vendors. You’ll navigate complex requirements, mitigate risks, and ensure operational readiness for successful outcomes. What You’ll Do Own and deliver client projects, including business improvement, legislative, and digital initiatives. Act as the primary liaison between MUFG, GESB, and external vendors to ensure seamless implementation. Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules, and manage delivery against agreed frameworks. Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the lifecycle. Prepare and present regular status reports and participate in steering committees and working groups. Build strong stakeholder relationships and facilitate clear, proactive communication. Champion continuous improvement and align project outcomes with member experience touchpoints. Ensure compliance with governance, risk, and regulatory requirements. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in end-to-end project management within financial services or superannuation. Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, time-critical environment. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with PMBOK and Agile methodologies. Confidence in presenting to groups and navigating conflict calmly and diplomatically. Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
