About the Role As a Residential Support Worker, you’ll help create a safe and stable environment for young people navigating the justice system. You’ll be there for the daily wins, encouraging healthy choices, keeping routines on track, and supporting young people to meet their bail conditions. When the residence is unoccupied, you'll step into a community-focused role, mentoring youth, building local connections, and strengthening Hope’s presence in Hedland. What’s on Offer $48.31/hr $5.57 regional allowance penalty rates (SCHADS Level 3) Casual roles available — 1 to 4 shifts per fortnight on an ad-hoc basis Free, confidential counselling for staff and families Career development & training opportunities Community-based work with real impact You’ll Need Cert III (or relevant experience) in Youth Work, Community Services or similar Experience working with at-risk or complex-needs youth aged 10–18 Willingness to work within a 24/7 roster Understanding of and adherence to personal and professional boundaries Ability to prepare meals and maintain a clean, healthy environment Understanding of Aboriginal culture and community Confidence working autonomously A calm, respectful, and resilient approach A current driver’s licence and First Aid certificate Important To apply, you must have the right to work in Australia.
