Position Overview We’re on the lookout for an experienced and qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at mycar Tyre & Auto. In this role, you’ll be the trusted expert our customers rely on—using your technical skills and diagnostic abilities to keep their vehicles running safely and smoothly. Your day-to-day will be hands-on and varied. You’ll carry out full vehicle inspections, diagnose mechanical issues, and determine the repairs needed to get each vehicle back to its best. You’ll complete routine servicing such as oil and filter changes, brake checks, fluid top-ups, and safety checks, all while ensuring every job is completed with accuracy and care. Beyond the tools, you’ll play an important part in maintaining a clean, organised and well-equipped workshop. You’ll follow safety protocols, support your teammates, and contribute to the positive, customer-focused environment mycar is known for. This is a role where your problem-solving skills, attention to detail and pride in workmanship truly matter—and your expertise will be valued every single day.
