Come join System Policy and Planning Division as a Director - State Funding where you will lead the development of budget strategy across Queensland Health, including the development of Queensland Health budget submissions and budget papers. Your key responsibilities: Lead development of budget strategy across Queensland Health and development of Queensland Health budget and mid-year review submissions to the Cabinet Budget Review Committee to support the delivery of high-quality health services in line with Queensland Health's strategic directions. Lead development of state budget papers, including Service Delivery Statements and service standards to drive and measure performance. Prepare and present complex analysis, reports, submissions, briefing notes and other correspondence on a range of State funding and budget issues. Role fit The essential requirements for this role are: High level ability to provide strategic advice at a senior level within a policy and funding environment and to prepare and present analysis and policy advice on complex issues. High level understanding of government policy and budget processes. Knowledge of or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of, the health care system and its funding and delivery in Queensland and Australia. Why work with us?
