Indigeco is supporting a NSW Government Department to engage a skilled Senior Platform Designer for high-impact digital transformation work. This role contributes to research, design and delivery activities across major ServiceNow programs, improving staff experience and enabling more effective frontline services. services. About the role: The Senior Platform Designer is a hands-on UX generalist who delivers across the full design lifecycle, from discovery and research through to wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity UI design. You will work closely with Product Owners, developers, Customer Experience teams and the ServiceNow Platform Team to ensure solutions are consistent, accessible and grounded in user insight. This role sits within a large, multi-stream workforce transformation program and requires strong facilitation capability, design delivery skills and confidence working in enterprise environments. ServiceNow experience is beneficial but not essential. Key Responsibilities: • Lead discovery research, user engagement, synthesis and usability testing to inform ServiceNow product and enhancement decisions. • Produce user journeys, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity mockups aligned to platform, accessibility and design system standards. • Facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders and translate insights into practical, implementable design outputs. • Provide evidence-based input to support backlog prioritisation, roadmap alignment and sustainable platform design. • Deliver high-quality design artefacts that support consistency, scalability and long-term maintainability across the ServiceNow environment. • Mentor and support junior designers and contribute to capability uplift within the design and platform teams. Key Requirements: • At least six years of experience delivering human-centred design across complex enterprise or SaaS platforms. • Strong hands-on skills in research, workshops, wireframing, prototyping and high-fidelity UI design (e.g., Figma). • Ability to translate user and business insights into practical, evidence-based designs in multidisciplinary teams. • Experience balancing user needs, business priorities and technical constraints in large programs of work. • Understanding of accessibility, usability and platform-wide design standards. • Experience with ServiceNow or similar platforms highly regarded but not essential.
