As a Territory Account Manager , you will drive demand generation, customer engagement, and sales of cutting-edge products while championing established brands within your territory. Reporting to the Southern Australian Sales Leader and collaborating closely with the national commercial team, you will manage key accounts, build strategic relationships, and provide technical support to customers and channel partners. Key Responsibilities Territory Management: Oversee all operations within your geographical sales territory, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Product Expertise: Develop deep technical knowledge of Corteva Agriscience products, focusing on positioning, stewardship, and value creation. Market Insight: Analyze data to forecast trends, identify gaps, and uncover new business opportunities. Sales Planning: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and budgets using business tools to respond to market dynamics. Strategic Planning: Create and maintain a territory plan prioritizing key market segments and customers. Target Achievement: Set and deliver annual sales targets aligned with Corteva's strategic goals. Relationship Building: Cultivate strong partnerships with key end users and large farming enterprises. Innovation Integration: Introduce new products to market and identify emerging opportunities. Customer Engagement: Organize demonstration sites and field days to showcase product benefits. Channel Partner Management: Strengthen relationships with distributors and partners to ensure mutual success. Qualifications & Skills Tertiary qualification in Agriculture or related discipline. Minimum 3 years' experience in the agricultural industry. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to build trust across diverse stakeholders. Excellent communication and presentation capabilities. Account management experience preferred. Solid understanding of agronomy and modern crop production systems; experience in horticulture, tree crops, or brush weed segments is advantageous. Ability to train others on product use and best practices. Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and collaborative. Customer-focused with a proven ability to develop long-term relationships.
