ConsultANZ is seeking a Project Engineer for a major infrastructure project in Wellington. In this role, you will coordinate and manage civil construction activities across a large-scale programme, supporting project delivery, cost control, design integration, and subcontractor performance. Key Responsibilities Develop and monitor project programmes, budgets, and cost forecasts. Review and coordinate design information, RFIs, and technical queries. Manage procurement, subcontractor scopes, and contract administration. Oversee QA/QC compliance across the project and support risk management. Prepare progress reports, support claims, and ensure alignment with project objectives. Liaise between site teams, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve technical and commercial issues. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. 5–10 years’ experience in civil infrastructure projects, including design, construction, and project management. Strong understanding of scheduling, cost control, and contract management. Experience coordinating subcontractors and multi-disciplinary teams. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with NZ construction standards, QA/QC processes, and H&S requirements.
