ConsultANZ is seeking a Site Engineer for a major infrastructure project in Wellington. In this hands-on role, you will help deliver a large-scale programme of flood protection upgrades, transport improvements, and urban redevelopment in a rapidly growing city. Key Responsibilities Carry out survey set-out and confirm levels, alignments, and tolerances. Supervise site crews and subcontractors during daily works. Maintain QA records including ITPs, test results, and as-built surveys. Resolve site-based technical issues and escalate constraints. Provide daily progress reporting and support short-term planning. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and project specifications. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering. 1–5 years’ experience in civil construction (earthworks, drainage, structures, or roadworks). Practical experience with set-out, drawings, and QA processes. Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-focused approach.
