ABOUT THE ROLE As the Receptionist, you’ll be the face of the Sydney office - creating a warm, professional experience for every guest, employee and executive. You’ll take ownership of front-of-house operations, support key members of the Executive Team, and keep the office running smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who loves variety, autonomy and being the go-to person for all things people and workplace. DUTIES Lead the day-to-day operations of reception and act as the first point of contact for all visitors Maintain a polished and welcoming reception area and meeting rooms Drive office safety, conducting regular checks and applying relevant protocols Manage incoming/outgoing mail, couriers and deliveries—including equipment for remote staff Coordinate catering and logistics for internal and external meetings Support onboarding activities across the APAC region Administer internal recognition programs and track budgets Oversee office supplies, kitchen stock, first-aid kits and general workplace upkeep Manage access passes for staff and visitors Liaise with building management, security and external vendors Provide diary and travel support to Executive Leadership Team members when required Deliver ad hoc administrative and operational support across the business SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 2 years’ experience in reception, office coordination or similar admin roles Outstanding communication skills - warm, polished and professional Strong proficiency across MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) High attention to detail, organisation and time management Confident engaging with all levels, including executive stakeholders A proactive problem-solver with strong initiative Ability to work autonomously, juggle priorities and adapt quickly Relevant diploma or higher education qualification preferred BENEFITS Exposure to a global executive team Professional development and career growth opportunities Vibrant Sydney office with a supportive, people-first culture Regular team events, social activities and recognition programs OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS At Lotus People, we are committed to fostering diversity, equity and inclusion.
