THE CLIENT The company is a family-operated mixed farming enterprise situated on the Dawson River, 25 kilometers from Moura or 200 kilometers southwest of Rockhampton, Queensland. Their enterprise spans 8,258 hectares across four farms and has been growing swiftly over the last decade. Approximately 2,200 hectares are irrigated, and extensive irrigation expansion is currently in progress. We are seeking an Agricultural Technician to provide technical support across our cropping and livestock operations. The role will work closely with Farm Managers, Owners, and Agronomists to improve productivity, sustainability, and animal welfare. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct field and laboratory tests to support livestock health, nutrition, reproduction, and disease prevention. • Collect and analyse soil, plant, water, and fertiliser samples to guide nutrient, irrigation, and crop protection decisions. • Monitor crops and livestock to assist with integrated pest, weed, and disease management. • Install, operate, and maintain precision agriculture and monitoring technologies. • Record, interpret, and report production data to support improved farm practices and outcomes.
