JOB DETAILS Temporary - Full Time until 1st Feb 2029 35 hours, 5 days/week Salary: $97,353.09 to $106,674.12 JOB DESCRIPTION As a Contributions Planning Officer, you will be responsible for the preparation, implementation, monitoring and review of Council’s Contributions Plans, Voluntary Planning Agreements (VPAs), and ensure that future development is supported by timely and cost-effective infrastructure delivery in accordance with Council’s strategic objectives. In this role, you will be directly responsible for the: Assisting with the preparation, review and administration of Council’s Contributions Planning Framework and associated planning documents and records under supervision. Assisting with the drafting, tracking and reporting of Voluntary Planning Agreements (VPAs) and Work-in-Kind Agreements (WIKs) Identification of population and development trends to inform future infrastructure and service needs; Provision of strategic advice to key internal and external stakeholders; Assisting with the timely expenditure of funds in a cost effective and planned manner; Promoting great community outcomes through high-level advocacy with all tiers of Government and the private sector; and Proactively identifying issues and opportunities to improve development contributions and infrastructure planning including reviewing procedures and responsibilities of all stakeholders. ABOUT YOU To be successful in this role, you must have Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated relevant experience in one or more of the following disciplines (or a related discipline): o Town Planning o Infrastructure Planning/ Delivery o Economics o Engineering o Property Current Class C NSW Driver's Licence Demonstrated knowledge and experience in implementing and administering a Contributions Planning Framework in NSW Experience in managing complex projects to achieve goals and meet deadlines with effective time management, planning and administrative skills. A demonstrated understanding of greenfield (Growth Areas) strategic planning and general associated infrastructure requirements. Well-developed communication, report writing, analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills including conflict resolution, problem solving and negotiation skills. Demonstrated ability to work cross organisationally and with external agencies to deliver quality customer service and to contribute to adaptive change and improvements.
