A leading manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced and motivated Supply Chain Specialist to join their team based in Bathurst. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and accurate procurement and supply chain operations that support production continuity and project success. Reporting to the supply chain manager, you will manage end-to-end purchasing activities, from MRP-based planning and project procurement through to vendor management and delivery coordination. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure smooth material flow across multiple sites and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function. Key Responsibilities: Oversee procurement of stock and project-related materials aligned with MRP and production requirements Track and expedite purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery and cost control Coordinate inter-branch transfers and site-specific material needs Manage vendor relationships, onboarding, and compliance documentation Maintain accurate data in the ERP system, including pricing, lead times, and part details Support MRP roll-out as the subject matter expert (SME) Participate in stocktakes, cycle counts, and audit compliance activities Assist in supplier audits, reporting, and data analysis using Excel and Power BI Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across supply chain processes About You To be successful in this position, you will bring a strong background in procurement, inventory planning, and supply chain management within manufacturing, engineering, or project-based environments. You are a detail-oriented professional who can balance multiple priorities, build effective supplier relationships, and drive outcomes in a fast-paced setting. International freight experience, including import and export coordination, is essential, along with strong knowledge of MRP-based planning and ERP systems.
