The Role As a Contract Administrator, you will be the backbone of our project contracts, ensuring compliance, clarity, and efficiency across all stages of contract lifecycle management. You will collaborate closely with managers, clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to mitigate risks, streamline processes, and uphold our commitment to delivering on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize construction contracts, subcontracts, variations, and related documentation (e.g., purchase orders, compliance certificates) in line with Australian construction laws, industry standards, and company policies. Manage contract amendments, extensions, and terminations, ensuring all parties are aligned and documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Track contract milestones, payment schedules, and deliverables to ensure timely invoicing, compliance, and resolution of discrepancies. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and legal counsel to address contract queries, resolve disputes, and mitigate contractual risks (e.g., scope creep, delays, non-compliance). Maintain a centralized contract management system, organizing and archiving all documentation for easy retrieval and audit purposes. Support with contract-related advice, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions throughout project delivery. Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile contract payments, variations, and claims. Stay updated on changes to Australian construction legislation, industry regulations, and best practices in contract administration.
