COMPASS Recruitment are working with a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy, who have a track record in delivering engineering solutions across the Water sector, in their search for a Senior Mechanical engineer. To be successful in this role you will need: Degree in Mechanical Engineering 8 or more years' of experience in the relevant engineering discipline Experience in concept and detailed engineering design of process systems, process and mechanical equipment and valve & piping systems. Experience in water and wastewater industry Experience in managing the engineering and design aspects of multi-disciplinary projects Experience in preparation of project design objectives, schedules and programs, risk management plans and cost management Understanding of working with a multi-disciplinary team Ability to work independently with external local and overseas partners Preferred Qualifications: Member of Engineers Australia Knowledge of process elements including P&IDs, process functional descriptions, control philosophy, etc. A good understanding of operational requirements, process interruption issues, brownfield installation planning.
