Electrical Trade Assistant - Solar About the role: GEM Resourcing is recruiting for an Electrical Trade Assistant. This position offers a long term opportunity to work with a reputable electrical and solar contractor operating across various locations within the Perth Metro area. The role involves supporting qualified electricians on residential and commercial solar installations, general electrical duties, assisting with cable runs, panel mounting, site preparation, and working safely at heights. Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the following: A strong trade assistant background, with previous electrical and solar experience Working at Heights experience (valid ticket preferred) Ability to work across multiple metro locations daily A positive, energetic attitude and the ability to work well within a small team A hands-on and proactive approach to supporting tradesmen Experience using hand and power tools A safety-focused approach while working on roofs and in live electrical environments Living locally in Perth, WA To be considered for this position, you must be able to provide the following: Working at Heights Ticket White Card Driver’s Licence (ability to travel to various Perth sites) Reference contact details of two past employers Already based in Perth, WA Full working rights in Australia At GEM Resourcing, we understand the importance of creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and respected.
