About the role In this permanent full-time role, you'll support the smooth and welcoming operation of the Hospital Café and wider hospitality services. You'll help prepare food, assist customers, maintain high hygiene standards, and contribute to safe, efficient, and culturally responsive service delivery. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve quality food and beverages while maintaining high hygiene standards. Deliver warm, efficient customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Keep the café clean, stocked, and running smoothly, including POS tasks. Support other areas when needed, such as kitchen, cleaning, laundry, or ward services. Follow safety and Queensland Health guidelines to ensure a safe environment for all. Contribute to service improvements and support a positive team culture. Engage respectfully with people from Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, and diverse cultural backgrounds. Provide culturally safe and responsive service in line with Queensland Health frameworks. Requirements This position may require successful applicants to undertake continuous shift work and to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster.
