Accounts Assistant / Trainee – Full Time – Perth We are looking for a full-time Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team in Perth. Whether you’ve already got some experience or you’re looking to start a career in accounts, this is a solid role with real development opportunities. We’re open to both junior applicants and new entrants wanting a traineeship (Certificate III in Accounts Administration or Certificate IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping). Immediate start available. About the Role You’ll support the finance team across accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, payroll support, and general administration. The role is hands-on and structured, perfect for someone who likes keeping things organised and accurate. If you join as a trainee, you’ll complete a nationally recognised qualification while learning on the job. If you’ve already done this type of work before, you’ll hit the ground running in a junior accounts role with plenty of support to keep building your skills. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable Process supplier invoices and credit notes Reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies Assist with weekly or monthly payment runs Accounts Receivable Help with invoicing and receipting Follow up payments and handle queries Keep records current and accurate Banking & Reconciliation Complete regular bank and credit card reconciliations Manage expenses and reimbursements Payroll & Compliance Support Assist with payroll and timesheet checks Support BAS, super and general compliance Financial & Admin Support Maintain digital and paper filing systems Assist with month-end and year-end tasks Manage finance inboxes, purchasing and data entry Who We’re Looking For Detail-focused, steady and reliable Good with numbers and organisation Clear communicator and team player Confident using Excel and Outlook Open to learning and developing new skills If you’re new to the field, you’ll be trained through a formal traineeship.
