As a Senior Consultant who will lead engagement delivery across a diverse public sector client portfolio and help shape the future of the division. You’ll have the opportunity to shape our service offerings, contribute to the divisional strategy, drive process improvements, and bring fresh, innovative thinking to projects and emerging business opportunities. What your day might look like: Leading end-to-end internal audit/assurance engagements, from planning through to reporting and managing client relationships and team delivery Leading the preparation of risk assessments to prepare engagement plans and testing programs Engaging in planning workshops to define scope, objectives, and due dates Conducting fieldwork including control testing, document review, process analysis and data analysis to identify issues and improvement opportunities. Preparing high-quality reports and communicating findings to clients and stakeholders Independently reviewing internal systems, processes and understanding the risks and controls, including identifying control deficiencies or gaps Contributing to practice operations including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control, fees and budgets Some of our William Buck benefits: Flexible working to help you balance work and personal responsibilities.
