About the role Join our team as an experienced Works Ready Coordinator based at our Tullamarine depot, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and on time. The primary purpose of the Works Ready Coordinator role is to ensure thorough preparation and planning of work packages to support the successful delivery of the works program. This includes establishing and maintaining effective processes, systems, and disciplines that enable efficient and consistent program delivery. Key Responsibilities include Preparation and planning of work packages to ensure all activities are ready for execution before handover to the Delivery Manager Lead the team to ensure organisational goals are achieved by providing a high level of advice and support Identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies to manage them proactively Manage customer expectations while meeting the operational needs of the business Ensure consistency and accuracy in data capture, including undertaking ad hoc system checks and completing end of month reconciliations Compile and analyse data to support reporting requirements related to works planning and delivery About You To be considered for this role, you will require a strong knowledge of construction and maintenance planning, scheduling, and operational standards for electrical networks, including Victorian Electrical Distribution Networks and VESI requirements, combined with expertise in safe work practices, OHS&E principles, Australian Standards, and practical application of legal, financial, quality, and risk management concepts. Certificate III in Power Systems (highly desirable), Project Management (or equivalent), along with a current Victorian Driver’s Licence Experience in the preparation and lodgment of switching sheets Understanding of HSEQ issues as they relate to maintenance planning Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Word/Excel, and other planning or scheduling systems will be highly regarded.
