SF People is working with a reputable client in the industrial transport sector. We are currently recruiting for a People, Culture & Safety Business Partner to join their team! The Opportunity The People, Culture & Safety Business Partner is a key role in the organisation partnering with business unit leaders and managers to design, develop and deliver practical and safety-focused people and culture outcomes for the business. As an organisation in the transport sector, a safety-first mindset is of the highest priority for the whole workforce. This role is instrumental in ensuring safety is front of mind for the whole business while building and supporting a high performing people and culture environment. As a multi-faceted role, responsibilities will encompass WHS governance and compliance, WHS Committee organisation and facilitation, incident and injury prevention and management, assisting in investigation processes, return to work (RTW) coordination and guidance, and partnering on people and culture/HR activities to ensure projects and tasks are actioned in line with organisational goals and operational needs. Experience, Qualifications & Skills Required Ideally you will have: Proven experience working at an Advisor or Business Partner level within human resources, people and culture, safety/WHS teams or similar. Qualifications in Human Resources, WHS, Injury Management or a related discipline. Strong understanding of safety legislation, workplace relations legislation, human resources, and best practice. Exceptional customer service for both internal and external stakeholders and customers. Strong skills in time management, self-organisation and managing multiple projects and deadlines. High level communication skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse workforce, be empathetic, and make people feel at ease. A proactive and professional approach to work with the ability to take the job seriously while also seeing the lighter side of life. A keen interest in developing leadership, people management, professional development and performance improvement skills. Experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment will be highly regarded. Additional Information This is a full time permanent role (option for 32-38 hrs per week over 5 days). The salary package for this role is made up of base salary superannuation. Salary for the role is negotiable based on the successful candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications and fit for the role. Office-based role in Western suburbs of Brisbane with only occasional work from home days. On-site visits to manufacturing areas will be required in this role. This role will require some occasional early starts (e.g. 7am start). Some occasional work-based travel may be required.
