We’re seeking a Financial Controller to lead our finance team and drive business improvement across our group. About the Role As Financial Controller, you’ll take ownership of all aspects of financial reporting, compliance, and performance management. You’ll partner closely with our leadership team to enhance systems, streamline processes, and deliver the financial clarity that supports Miss Maud’s continued growth. You’ll lead a small, capable finance team and play a key role in business improvement — bringing together your financial expertise, practical mindset, and curiosity for smarter ways of working. What You’ll Do Proactively drive 2 Second Lean principles and continuous improvement Oversee financial accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across the group Ensure compliance with ATO, BAS, FBT, GST, and payroll obligations Build strong relationships with banks, auditors, and external partners Lead and mentor the finance and payroll team Manage cashflow, AP, AR, and payroll accuracy and timeliness Contribute to system improvements across POS, IT, and reporting Support leadership in identifying efficiencies and business opportunities Live and promote the Miss Maud Constitution and values every day Who You Are You bring energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for what you do.
