About the Role This fantastic opportunity is for a motivated Graduate to join our high-performing, fast paced Recoveries team in our Melbourne office. This role will see you working within a practice of litigated and unlitigated motor vehicle property damage recoveries and settlements matters under the supervision and guidance of our Recoveries Principals. You will receive constant mentoring from Senior Lawyers and will form part of our wider Recoveries Team which boasts a collegiate, innovative and collaborative culture, making it the perfect environment for you to develop your advocacy skills, strategic-advice work, and practice management skills. About you We are interested in candidates who have maintained high academic performance throughout their studies and are motivated to gain expertise and insight into Insurance law. Ideally, you will have: A genuine interest in insurance law and litigation Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to work fast and meticulously with high attention to detail A positive, “can do” attitude and willingness to be a key member of a tight knit team Ability to work collaboratively with a strong sense of initiative and autonomy A great work ethic and keen to learn and develop your career Education Completion of a recognised Law degree in Australia Completion or about to complete Practice Legal Training (PLT) Personal Qualities Is an active team player and seeks to build relationships with peers and team members Ability to deal effectively with a broad range of people at all levels in business Active listener and receptive to feedback Innovative and alert to opportunities for continuous improvement and learning Why join us?
