Your New Role Reporting to the Principal Insurance Product & Policy, the key responsibilities for this role are to: Ensure the Fund’s insurance products are competitive and sustainable, equitably meet the needs of members, comply with all regulatory requirements and industry code, and are aligned to the IMF. Ensure the Fund’s group insurance policies and IMF are maintained and evolved to accurately reflect agreed terms, conditions, processes, Trust Deed requirements and legislation. Support business growth and retention. What You’ll Need Solid experience in superannuation and insurance and knowledge of the group insurance market. Ability to read, analyse, interpret and explain insurance policy terms and conditions. Excellent interpersonal skills which foster cooperation and teamwork in a close team environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to write reports and member communications; and ability to accurately proofread. Excellent spelling and English grammar skills essential. An ability to read, analyse, understand/interpret and explain technical documents (such as insurance policy terms and conditions, legislation, business requirements), and to be able to determine the subject matter and to prepare and summarise reports. Effective relationship builder and stakeholder management. Ability to support delivery of product initiatives and project manage. Excellent attention to detail. Proactive with a developed sense of initiative. Able to work diligently, efficiently, and with accuracy paying close attention to detail.
