As a Claims Consultant, you will manage a portfolio of life insurance claims across IP/TPD multi funds and related benefits. You’ll play a key role in supporting our customers when they need us most, managing the portfolio with care, empathy, and confidence. In this role you will: A key focus of this role involves providing a best-in-class customer and client (e.g. advisers, trustees, fund administrators) experience, including regular communication in relation to the status of claims and managing expectations, to deliver on quality health and claim outcomes. Independently managing a portfolio of TPD and IP claims end-to-end Assess, analyse, calculate and finalise claims payments Active engagement of external treating doctors, rehabilitation consultants as well as in house medical and legal specialists and delivering timely outcomes for our customer Provide exceptional customer service in accordance with our philosophy, policy and claims procedures Participate in case conferences, peer case discussions, and instructing third party service providers Contributing to team and company initiatives that make a difference to our customers and our people.
