Your New Role As an Associate Business Analyst within the Production Operations & Delivery Support (PODS) team, you will be part of a collaborative agile delivery team supporting Guild Insurance’s mission to protect those our communities rely on. You will work closely with stakeholders to define business problems, understand requirements and processes and help deliver solutions that improve how we operate and serve our customers. You will be supported by a strong team and encouraged to develop your skills across insurance systems, agile delivery and stakeholder engagement. What you’ll be doing Work with stakeholders to define business problems and understand requirements Participate in agile ceremonies and BA centre of excellence meetings Document business processes and requirements using a range of techniques Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to shape solutions Define acceptance criteria and contribute to testing activities Maintain system documentation including Jira, story cards and design documents Support multiple initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement Uphold company values and standards in all interactions If you are an internal applicant looking to explore this, you’ll likely bring the following skills, experience and knowledge You may have experience in customer service, claims, account management support or another role where you developed strong communication and problem-solving skills. You are ready to take the next step in your career and deepen your knowledge of business analysis and insurance systems. You are curious, collaborative and keen to learn. You enjoy working with others to solve problems and improve processes. You are comfortable with ambiguity and change and bring a positive mindset to your work. In addition to this you can demonstrate strong analytical skills, an interest and grasp of technology and proficiency with desk top software.
