On-going training and mentoring with career development opportunities Team-based national incentive scheme What You’ll Work On This role plays a key role to support and steer the growth of sales for the Australia & Oceania region, primarily through quality account management focused on the long term retention and attraction of key clients in Australia & Oceania region. CS sees high growth potential in the Australia & Oceania region, this will include developing our partnerships with key integrators and coordinating the sales and business development activities across the region with CSA’s Market Leads. You’ll Support Your Team by Performing the Following Key Tasks Play a key role in meeting the annual sales budget for the region. Ensure relevant template documentation for the submission of tenders is made available for staff members executing the project/tender In advance of each financial year, identify key customer visits for the upcoming year that will assist CSA to build sales revenue (either with distributors or direct customer visits) for significant opportunities in regions without CS representation. Work with General manager to manage annual partner agreement and discount review, identify potential partners for onboarding. Assist Application Engineers with customer interactions and distributor enquiries for the region (cultural, communications, platforms and time differences); and Ensure Sales skills with AE team are up to date and regularly periodically assessed inline with staff reviews detailed below. Develop and maintain up to date market research data relevant for key strategic decision making. Planned/relevant marketing events, trade shows and other events are attended; with clear objectives and tangible data brought back for future action. Complete technical tasks as required by customer projects. Work with the CSA technical manager to coordinate AE resourcing to address project requirements Work closely with the AE team monitor delivery timelines and ensure project milestones are met What We’re Looking For Skills & Abilities: Strong business acumen with a strategic mindset Demonstrates sound leadership and organisational skills Well presented, with excellent oral and written communication An ability to quickly absorb and understand complex information Able to plan and prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks A commitment to working within timeframes to reach a target or objective Able to contribute and participate in a technical team environment Understanding of marketing strategies and market data Reliable work ethic and a detail focus Ability to collaborate with different cultures and ethnicities Knowledge: Knowledge of and strong interest in the environment and challenges facing Australian and Oceania markets An understanding of quality and continuous improvement frameworks Strategic decision processes and implementation of these An appreciation and understanding of safety in the workplace An appreciation and understanding of best practice human resources principles Understanding and appreciation of technical related matters Education & Qualifications: Formal qualification in Sciences or Business Sound knowledge in General Science or an affiliation with a scientific related field preferable Want to know more about Campbell Scientific, the culture, and more?
