Role Summary We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Product Analyst to join the APAC Product Operations team, specifically focused on managing the full lifecycle of client-funded development (Custom Development). This individual will be crucial in translating client requirements into clear, actionable functional specifications and project plans, ensuring efficient delivery and managing the client sign-off process. This position involves close interaction with clients, Product Managers, and Product Development teams across the business. Will have at least 1-3 years of related experience in business analysis, product analysis, or project management in a software environment. Responsibilities: 1. Custom Development Scoping and Functional Specification Lead the scoping of client-funded development requests, working directly with clients, Product, and Development teams to define project requirements and feasibility. Generate detailed functional specifications and Statements of Work (SOWs) that clearly define the scope, deliverables, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements for custom work. Manage the review and formal sign-off/acceptance process for specifications and completed work by all necessary stakeholders (internal and external/client). Maintain a centralised backlog and roadmap for all custom development projects. 2. Project Coordination and Facilitation Manage the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for custom development, including project planning, tracking deliverables, timelines, and risks, and escalating issues when required. Facilitate planning sessions, design reviews, and retrospectives specific to custom development projects. 3. Stakeholder Communication Ensure stakeholders have timely access to accurate information about the status, roadmap, and delivery of client-funded projects. Act as the primary point of coordination for custom development work, ensuring clarity and transparency by documenting information in Jira and Confluence . 4. Product Operations Functions (Backfill/Secondary) Provide backfill support for core Product Operations functions, including release management and product launch coordination, as capacity allows. Assist in the development and maintenance of operational processes and documentation. Serve as backup administrator and subject-matter expert for key Product Operations tools, including the Atlassian suite (Jira/Confluence) , StatusPage, UserVoice, and others. Configure and maintain tooling to meet evolving business needs. Job Requirements: Degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field is a plus. At least 1-3 years of related experience in business analysis, product analysis, or project management in a software environment. Experience in generating detailed functional specifications, SOWs, and managing client/stakeholder sign-off. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to effectively manage multiple work assignments and projects. Excellent time management & communication skills. Ability to work productively with remote teams and individuals via web meeting, conference calls and instant messaging. Familiarity with the Atlassian suite (Jira and Confluence) and product development processes (Agile/Scrum).
