Description About the Role Our Wine & Food Assistants are an integral part of the daily operation of the Cellar Door, ensuring a “Customer for Life” experience for visitors at our Tamar Ridge location. Food & Wine Assistants provide our customers with a personalised and specialised experience that exceeds expectations by: Being responsive to customer questions and needs. Developing and maintaining a thorough knowledge of wines/beverages and facilities. Facilitating and conducting wine tastings. Proactively identifying opportunities to promote and introduce the Tamar Ridge range of products and services to build and strengthen our customer relationships. Skills And Experiences About You To be successful you should have an interest in wine, be customer focused with exceptional and engaging communication skills to create lifelong memories for our guests. You want to be part of something exciting in a unique location and you’re willing to go above and beyond for our customers when needed. If this sounds like you then we’d love to hear from you. What you’ll need to succeed: Prior experience within the hospitality industry, wine industry or FMCG is desirable. Flexibility in working hours. Hold a current R.S.A. Certificate. Current driver’s licence. Demonstrated advanced customer service skills and orientation. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities at one time.
