They are now looking to add an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to their dynamic team in Toowoomba and surrounding areas to help deliver the high standard of care they are known for. About the Role and your Responsibilities: As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, reporting to the Managing Directors, you will support clients by developing and delivering high-quality, evidence-based behaviour support. You will collaborate with families, support teams and other professionals to ensure holistic care and improved quality of life. Some of your responsibilities will include: Developing, implementing and reviewing Positive Behaviour Support Plans Managing complex cases and coordinating supports Providing best practice therapeutic supports tailored to individual needs Delivering training and guidance to clients, families and care teams Preparing reports, letters, clinical notes and documentation Maintaining accurate records and meeting compliance requirements Delivering workshops or contributing to blog content as required Participating in professional development and team activities Networking and promoting the organisation with referral partners Skills and Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Social or Behavioural Sciences, Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related field Registration or eligibility for registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner Knowledge of the NDIS, disability sector and Disability Services Standards Strong interpersonal skills within a clinical or health context Advanced written and verbal communication skills Excellent organisation and time management Strong problem-solving skills Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively Willing to learn, grow and seek guidance when needed Confident working independently and as part of a team Respectful when working with people from diverse backgrounds Current Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain Current driver’s licence Full working rights in Australia Benefits: Generous salary of $85k to $110k plus Super with the aim of rewarding expertise Ongoing Professional development opportunities : providing onboarding, mentoring and professional development to support your growth.
