Location: Karratha & Rio Tinto Sites (FIFO from any state in Australia)
Rate: $70–$88/hour (depending on experience, location, accommodation, and vehicle)
Employment Type: Casual (with long-term and full-time pathways after probation)

About the Role
Guma Wagagu Australia (GWA) is seeking experienced and motivated A-Grade Electricians to join our growing team for maintenance and project work across Rio Tinto sites in the Pilbara region.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical maintenance and project work on Rio Tinto mine and port sites
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Execute planned and reactive maintenance tasks safely and efficiently
- Participate in toolbox talks and prestart meetings
- Complete daily and weekly reporting (KPI tracking)
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure project success
Requirements
- WA Electrical License (A Grade)
- Demonstrated experience in industrial or mining environments
- Rio Tinto inductions or willingness to obtain them
- FIFO flexibility or Karratha local availability
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong focus on safety and compliance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment
Desirable
- Additional electrical tickets (e.g., HV Switching, Instrumentation)
- Experience in maintenance and shutdowns
- Familiarity with Rio Tinto site requirements
