We are looking for a Technology Consultant (Software & Control) to be based in our Perth, Australia office. Based in Perth, you will be the technical domain expert for our Software & Control products portfolio. Reporting to the Business Manager, South Pacific, you will use your expertise to support our sales team and contribute to the growth of our business. You will also be intimately engaged in key customer opportunities, identify technical / commercial challenges and work with the appropriate channels to address those challenges. There's also the opportunity to be involved in several of our marketing events and showcase your areas of expertise to our customers. Learn our technology will be key to the success of your role, which means you will have the opportunity to attend technical training and explore the latest technologies before bringing them to the market. As part of the broader domain experts community globally, you will network and learn from one another! Your Responsibilities: Direct and guide the commercial and technical sales support activities for Rockwell's comprehensive portfolio of Software and Control solutions. Work to develop new business opportunities and support Sales when opportunities are identified. Guide the team as a commercial and technical product expert to develop and present system solutions, and support closure of complex technical sales. Provide feedback to the Business on market and competitor activities and future needs. Support distributors and system integrators in conveying the value of our products and technology; Support the launch of new products to the sales teams and channel The Essentials - You Will Have: University Degree in Engineering (Bachelors of Engineering or equivalent) or Trade qualification with additional tertiary education. 5 years of hands on experience in automation and related products Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects Experience or understanding of DCS solutions, IIoT platforms and SAAS offerings will be viewed favourably.
