The Role The purpose of the IT Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer is to assist in the delivery of the migration to Azure Cloud. You will play an active role within the UA IT team, participating in building a community-based culture that fosters a spirit of the BEST way of life, supporting our people to be their best, give their best and help our community to live their best. Day to Day Responsibilities Maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors Identify customer needs and oversee and maintain end user technology services within the business context Management of vendors and ensure KPI's are delivered within agreed measures with regular reporting Determine ways to reduce costs without sacrificing customer satisfaction Regularly assess customer feedback and using creativity to establish, improve and refine network application services Build partnerships and liaising with team members to determine services, delivery criteria and solutions for network services that may arise Maintain all servers and cloud hosted environments. Providing support and maintenance tasks for incident and request fulfillment, as well as coordination and escalation to service providers as required, including fault and root cause analysis. Manage Uniting AgeWell's Servers and Azure platform, Managing Service Providers and vendors to ensure support compliance is maintained appropriately. Provide monitoring and reporting for IT Systems to maintain availability, reliability and performance to ensure operational excellence. Maintain security and version compliance to ensure appropriate governance across IT Systems, including patching, backups and DR Qualifications & Experience Required Relevant tertiary and/or industry qualifications. Proficient with Servers, applications and cloud systems (Azure) Knowledge of hardware, software, and operating systems. Proven expertise in Azure architecture and maintenance Proven customer service skills. Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail. Experience with modern Microsoft and Linux operating systems and cloud infrastructure security (Azure). Knowledge of MS Azure and security best practice, preferably achieving Azure operations certifications. Excellent presentation skills and attention to detail.
