The Role Join our field operations team as a Field Technician , supporting agricultural clients across the West Coast of WA. This role involves physical, outdoor work-collecting soil and data samples in a safe, accurate, and timely manner. You'll be part of a team that helps deliver essential insights to Australian farmers through high-quality field data and mapping. Key Responsibilities In this role, you'll be responsible for conducting fieldwork and ensuring all soil and data collection is completed safely and to procedure. Your main duties will include: Preparing for each job, following sampling protocols and job pack instructions precisely Performing field-based activities such as: Strategic deep-core and shallow soil sampling Grid-based soil sampling EM38 and elevation mapping Marking out locations for on-farm trials and water management designs Maintaining and cleaning all field equipment and vehicles to prevent contamination Recording and reporting productivity measures, such as hectares mapped and samples collected Submitting timesheets, expenses, and field data accurately each day Reporting maintenance issues promptly to minimise downtime Travelling and working independently as required, representing the company professionally Adhering to all company safety, biosecurity, and operational procedures Benefits Pay Rate: $40 per hour Duration: Approx. 3 months Schedule: 50-60 hours per week Vehicle provided for work-related travel $250 daily allowance for you to source accommodation and pay for food Training and support provided for field operations and technology use Be part of a company dedicated to sustainable agriculture and data-driven farming Your Skills & Experience Current Australian driver's licence with trailer-towing capability (vehicle provided) Basic trailer towing experience Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic field equipment Intermediate computer skills (data entry, reporting, and use of field apps) Strong written and verbal communication skills Passion for agriculture and working in outdoor environments Choose Agri Labour Australia Agri Labour Australia is an award-winning Australian company with clients in every State and Territory.
