Your Role as Care Worker You’ll deliver person-centred services across aged care, disability and community service settings. You’ll empower individuals to live more independently, safely, and meaningfully by providing personal care (showering/dressing), continence support, assistance with meals, assistance with medications, domestic duties (laundry/housework/ironing/gardening). Taking clients shopping providing transport, in home respite, centre-based respite care, overnight respite (including sleepovers), social support/activities. You will provide the ability for clients to access other relevant services, and any other tasks as stated in the customer care plan. What We’re Looking For Location: Chermside and Surrounds We're looking for compassionate, enthusiastic, qualified Community Care Workers. Ability to work as part of a team to continually promote and provide excellent care and services to customers. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent, flexible and holistic care to a variety of customers with varying needs. Demonstrated understanding of the needs of and empathy towards older people and people with a disability. Essential Requirements Willingness to travel in the community and between clients for work. Certificate III in Individual Care (or equivalent) from a recognised provider for appointment to Level 3.
