Applicants should possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or 2 years of experience coupled with a Certificate III qualification in plumbing. They must be in good physical condition and demonstrate the necessary expertise to effectively conduct plumbing and drainage tasks across diverse worksites, performing the following duties: Preparation, trenching and installation of drainage and various piping (including sewer, water and waste). Demonstrate a working knowledge of ground levels and their impact on piping and drainage systems. Demonstrate understanding of, and execute, string or other laser lines for site level preparation, in accordance with blueprints or other engineering documentation and/or as per site requirements. Prepare, install, repair and service below-ground and portable drainage systems and associated sewerage or effluent disposal systems. Prepare, install, repair and service drains, guttering, cooling and ventilation systems, metal roofing, and related equipment for water supply, drainage and sewerage systems. Install sanitary, sewerage and effluent pumping/plumbing piping, fixtures/valves and water systems, in accordance with manufacturing and legislative guidelines. Ensure all portable buildings and equipment are in working order, prior to delivery and in situ (when required). Demonstrate understanding of written specifications (such as drawings and blueprints plans) to ensure all drainage and piping meets requirements. Ensure materials are itemised, receipted and stored in accordance with company requirements. Also ensuring adequate material and inventory replacement is undertaken in a timely manner to ensure materials/equipment are available as required.
