This is an exciting opportunity to lead clinical innovation, shape service delivery, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people and their families. This role is not your typical psychiatry position – it’s collaborative, consultative, and deeply embedded in community-based mental health support . You’ll work alongside a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians, senior leaders, and partner services to deliver psychiatric expertise and ensure every young person receives the support they need to thrive. Your impact will include: Providing expert secondary consultations to clinicians on diagnosis, formulation, and treatment options Delivering primary psychiatric assessments, including treatment recommendations and medication prescribing Supporting service navigation and liaison with Public Mental Health Services to improve access and outcomes for young people Contributing to clinical leadership across the YES team, including quality care planning, governance input, and evidence-based practice Collaborating closely with internal leadership, including the YES Manager, Clinical Coordinators and Each Clinical Lead, to deliver an integrated service approach What you’ll bring: Registration with AHPRA and Fellowship of the RANZCP (or equivalent) Advanced Training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (or close to completion) Deep clinical experience with young people aged 12–25, including risk, diagnosis, and treatment management Strong collaboration skills and an ability to work across systems – including GPs, schools, families, and health services Confidence in delivering clinical supervision, service innovation, and quality improvement Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team What’s in it for you At Each you’ll be supported to be your best.
