Job Description FTE: 0.8 FTE or Full Time, ongoing position Location: Based on the eastern shore of nipaluna/Hobart in lutruwita/Tasmania Salary: Dependent on qualifications & experience 12% Super Generous Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550 About the Program The Senior Mental Health Clinician - Continuing Care Team (CCT) is part of the headspace Early Psychosis Program, supporting young people and their families through early intervention, intensive case management, and recovery-focused care. Our multidisciplinary team is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people experiencing a first episode of psychosis. Your role, your impact As the CCT Senior Clinician, you’ll lead and inspire a team delivering evidence-informed, intensive case management to young people and their families. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping clinical care, supporting recovery, and ensuring best practice across the team. Key responsibilities: Lead clinical care in collaboration with the Team Leader, ensuring treatment aligns with best practice Supervise and mentor clinicians, providing both formal and informal support Manage complex cases and guide decision-making for young people and families Deliver outreach and centre-based services, including home visits and crisis support Champion quality improvement and contribute to service innovation Foster a youth-friendly, recovery-focused team culture Engage in consultation and liaison with internal and external partners for integrated care Who we’re looking for 3 years’ clinical experience in mental health Experience working with young people with complex wellbeing concerns Leadership, supervision, and mentoring skills Advanced clinical skills in assessment, intervention, and case management Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Proficiency in electronic health records and data tools Commitment to recovery-oriented, youth-friendly care Mandatory qualifications (must have one of the following): Registered Nurse: Bachelor’s degree in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing or equivalent or approved postgraduate qualification. Registered with AHPRA Occupational Therapist: Current registration with AHPRA Psychologist: Registered with AHPRA Social Worker: Approved degree and eligibility for AASW membership.
