The Company Our client is a well-established organisation undergoing a significant transformation across its People and Payroll systems. With multiple concurrent programs underway, this environment is ideal for a delivery-focused Senior Project Manager who thrives in complex, high-stakes projects involving multiple vendors and system integrations. The Role We're seeking a Senior Project Manager to take ownership of a major Payroll System Replacement initiative, forming part of a broader People systems transformation. This program will replace an end-of-life platform with Dayforce and deliver key remediation and uplift activities across Workday. Reporting to the Program Director, you'll be accountable for overall delivery strategy, planning, execution, and stakeholder engagement across a multi-million-dollar program. This is a 12-month day-rate contract. Candidates must have experience delivering similar large-scale, complex payroll replacement or implementation projects. Responsibilities Lead the Payroll replacement project through to cutover and go-live Manage delivery across multiple streams, including Workday remediation and integrations Oversee vendors and internal teams, ensuring accountability for delivery outcomes Coordinate closely with the Time & Attendance program to manage interdependencies Maintain robust stakeholder relationships, driving clear communication and reporting Manage complex project budgets, schedules, risks, and change control Candidate Experience Proven success delivering Payroll or HRIS system replacements Hands-on project management experience with large Payroll systems - preferably: aPay (Dayforce) and Workday, highly desirable Strong experience as a senior PM delivering multi-million-dollar programs in large, complex environments Please note, we can only contact successfully shortlisted candidates.
