About the Role Smith & Co is seeking experienced Painter Blasters to join long-term industrial projects across Brisbane. You’ll be part of high-profile construction and maintenance works on processing plants and infrastructure projects in the oil & gas, water, and petrochemical sectors. These are ongoing contract roles with the opportunity to transition to full-time employment direct with the client after probation. You’ll work alongside skilled tradespeople and enjoy exposure to a range of industrial coatings and blasting environments. Key Responsibilities Perform abrasive blasting and industrial painting to specification Prepare surfaces by cleaning, masking, and priming for coating Mix, apply, and test coatings using airless and conventional spray systems Conduct quality inspections and ensure correct film thickness and finish Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas to a high safety standard What You’ll Bring Trade qualification or proven experience as a Painter/Blaster Experience in industrial, mining, or heavy manufacturing environments Knowledge of surface prep, blasting media, and coating applications Current White Card , Working at Heights , and Confined Space tickets or be willing to obtain Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship Salary & Benefits $56.28/hr Overtime Penalties Monday–Friday day shifts (6:00am or 6:30am starts) Long-term projects with full-time opportunities direct with client Career development and exposure to major industrial projects across Oil & Gas and petrochemical Apply Now If you’re a skilled Painter Blaster ready for your next challenge, click Apply Now or contact Lauren Graham at 0427 051 112 to learn more.
