Title: Underwriting Assistant, Surety Location: BRISBANE, Queensland, Australia The Role Our client, an established and highly-regarded global insurer, is seeking an Underwriting Assistant to join their growing Surety team in Brisbane CBD. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administration skills and an interest in specialised insurance products. This will also be an ideal for anyone keen to either continue to build upon their underwriting career, or enter into the underwriting space whilst working for a leading global specialist insurer. You will ideally have a minimum of 2 years of work experience within the insurance or financial services industry (you won't need prior Surety insurance). Responsibilities Apply efficient, effective, and sound underwriting assistance with regards to new business, mid-term alterations and renewal management administration; Ensuring accurate and precise premium booking; Logging and clearing new submissions in a timely manner; Ensure that all relevant correspondence is saved on to the applicable systems; and Generating system based management reports if required.
