Forget red tape – this is real business development. We’re All Round Supplies (ARS) , an Australian-owned specialist distributor supplying the electrical infrastructure industry. Part of Metal Manufactures Pty Limited (MMPL) , we’re backed by one of Australia’s largest privately-owned networks with over 450 outlets nationwide. We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join our growing sales team. You’ll start by getting your hands dirty – spending a couple of months in the Prestons office to learn our products, pricing, and estimating process – before taking on a customer-facing BDM role. In this role you’ll help drive growth across our existing customer base and open doors into new markets. What You’ll Do · Manage and grow existing customer relationships · Identify and target new customers in line with ARS’s strategic growth plan · Support tenders and project pricing, including design take-offs · Partner with internal teams to ensure great customer service and delivery · Represent ARS at customer visits, trade events, and industry functions · Split your time roughly 60% out on the road and 40% in the office in Prestons What You’ll Get · Competitive base salary car allowance profit share bonuses · Stability and support of a long-established and successful business · A strong pipeline of projects and growth markets to tap into · Genuine career development You’ll Be a Fit If You’re · An electrical background – whether you're a qualified tradesperson, engineer, draftsperson, or have recently completed a Certificate in Electrotechnology · Experienced in trade-based sales (around 2 years ideal) · Comfortable working with contractors, project managers, or field-based clients · Practical and hands-on, with a willingness to learn the products from the ground up · Energetic, self-driven, and motivated by results · Commercially savvy, with strong communication and relationship skills · Hold a current driver’s licence and full working rights in Australia Sound like you?
