About the Role Middleton Group is seeking a highly skilled Grid Connection Advisor to lead and support the full lifecycle of data centre grid connection projects. This pivotal role ensures clients successfully obtain connection approvals and achieve compliant energisation of their systems. You will work closely with Network Service Providers (NSPs), Regulators, and the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO), while driving project delivery and fostering strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities Manage and support grid connection projects from feasibility through to approval. Interface with NSPs, AEMO, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and timely outcomes. Develop cost proposals and deliverables for clients. Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities and strengthening stakeholder relationships. Build and maintain trust-based partnerships with clients and industry stakeholders. Collaborate across teams to align strategy and deliver successful project outcomes. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) from an accredited university; Power Systems focus advantageous. Proven experience in grid connection processes and the National Electricity Rules (NER). Strong project management skills and ability to lead client-focused engagements. Excellent communication skills, including negotiation, presentations, and report writing. Demonstrated ability to influence company culture positively and engage proactively with clients.
