About the opportunity: The Membership Services Officer is responsible for the provision of extensive administrative support for the Fellowship Affairs Unit and major stakeholder committees and working groups. You will be assisting in the co-ordination and delivery of the action areas and projects managed by the membership services unit. This role will report to the Operations Manager – Fellowship Affairs . You will be based at ANZCA House on St Kilda Road, Melbourne. Hybrid, flexible working options available. This position may involve work outside normal business hours for committee meetings and webinars. Time In Lieu will apply for these additional hours. About the team: This role sits within the Membership Services team whose role is to support and foster fellowship engagement with the college. The team is both passionate about and experienced in delivering projects that directly benefit our members. Communication and collaboration are key to the department’s success. Keys to your success: This will be an ideal role for someone with high level professional writing skills and the ability to confidently communicate with a range of senior stakeholders. You will have a genuine passion to engage with our members, build strong relationships and deliver excellent customer service. Specifically, you will have: Essential: Demonstrated experience in an administrative role. Strong customer service focus and orientation. Sound initiative, the ability to operate autonomously on routine tasks. Strong attention to detail. Outstanding verbal communications skills, professional telephone manner. Well-developed written communication skills, including the ability to draft accurate and succinct minutes. Experience supporting professional committees, including preparing agendas and minutes. Sound planning and coordinating skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritise multiple tasks and effectively handle conflicting demands. Very good interpersonal skills, the ability to liaise confidently and build strong relationships with a range of individuals such as committee chairs and members, with other ANZCA departments to achieve smooth running of committee meetings. Computer skills: Intermediate level: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Zoom and Teams. Aptitude to learn and effectively use the in-house systems iMIS and SharePoint. Aptitude to learn and effectively update websites. Experience in maintaining databases. Desirable: Experience in a membership organisation and/or the health industry. Experience in delivery of basic project management support.
