What’s Involved Apply Systems Engineering methodologies to produce accurate, auditable data and documentation aligned with procedural requirements. Conduct detailed requirement analysis of relevant sections of the Technical Specification to ensure compliance and clarity. Design and integrate Class-approved systems with client requirements and supplied components. Validate subcontractor system designs to ensure they meet current classification rules. Develop comprehensive requisition documents that clearly define design elements and system interfaces. Define and manage interface requirements across subsystems to ensure correct integration between connected equipment, especially when multiple subcontractors are involved. You’ll Need Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics/Mechatronics). · Experience working within a similar position, designing the elements of all navigation and communication systems on vessels. A solid understanding of electronic systems and system integration concepts. A solid understanding of mandatory IMO Navigation and Communication systems. A solid understanding of IP CCTV systems and networking. A solid understanding of RF signal propagation and interference concepts and ability to do aerial arrangements.
