Overview We are seeking a diligent and proactive Air Freight Cartage Specialist committed to delivering exceptional transport services. The ideal candidate will coordinate freight movements effectively, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and uphold our company values of diversity, equality, and inclusion. Join our dynamic team and contribute to supporting seamless freight operations. Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule local and interstate freight movements via road, rail, or intermodal methods. Liaise with carriers and warehouse teams to manage daily transport tasks effectively. Monitor transport jobs through our Transport Management System (TMS) to ensure timely delivery. Maintain accurate records of shipments, clearance statuses, and delivery updates. Communicate effectively with customers regarding ETAs, delays, and special requirements. Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), NHVR, and WHS requirements. Resolve transport-related issues promptly and professionally. Support continuous improvement initiatives within transport processes. Adhere to company values, operational KPIs, and service-level agreements (SLAs). Qualifications Minimum of 2 years' experience in freight forwarding/logistics. Certifications in Customs, Dangerous Goods, and Air Cargo Security (desirable). Proficiency with Cargowise and other related softwares. Strong communication, analytical, and commercial negotiation skills. High attention to detail and a proactive work ethic. Ability to work independently, handle pressure, and manage multiple priorities. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
